Los Angeles, CA (CNS) – Brandy’s mother’s lawsuit against socialite Kim Kardashian has been dismissed in an apparent settlement on Monday. The singer’s mom accused the reality TV star of charging her bills on a credit card without permission.

Sonja Norwood sued Kim and sisters Khloe and Kourtney and brother Robert Jr. in February 2008, accusing them of raking up more than $120,000 to a credit card. Kim was Brandy’s stylist then.

The R&B songstress’ mother claimed that Kim, who appeared in the infamous sex tape with her son Ray J in 2007, had only been authorized in 2004 to make one purchase on their American Express as a stylist to her daughter. However, Kim allegedly made unauthorized purchases and passed the card number to her siblings, who also bought items for the family-owned clothing stores, Dash and Smooch.

Sonja wanted the return of the money plus 10 percent interest.

Kim had denied the “meritless” allegations.

Now, People magazine reports that the lawsuit has been dismissed on June 1 without prejudice, meaning the case cannot be appealed or re-filed.
