1. The indestructible Kanye West begins the show with a performance of his new single, “Power.” Kanye is legendary. I like his presence! He reminds me of the saintly Mother Mary M. Welch of the California Northwest Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ. Let’s give him a hand praise!
2. Queen Latifah comes off a piano looking stunning! Not sure what she was talking about though! They show pictures of all the people that said no, which is why she ends up hosting. She started singing! She says something about Usher wanting older women! She tells Trey Songz to take his shirt off. She did a little “flat” singing. Then she changed into some “hip hop gear.” She rapped a tad. I’m impressed. Not sure I want to hear anymore though!
3. Jada Pinkett Smith looking lovely from the neck up. Not sure what she was wearing. She gives the Award for Best Female R&B Artist. Mary or Melanie should win but Alicia Key’s takes it home. Actually Rhianna has been doing her thing too! Swizz didn’t help his pregnant fiance up the steps.
4. Usher performs. I actually like this song, “There Goes My Baby.” Seems like there is more background tracks than actual singing. I am just glad he’s not singing! He sounds a fool when he dances and sings. He’s sounding like Trey Songz a tad. Never thought I would HAVE to say that! Usher is anything but original. Trey got the game on lock!
5. Taraji is so hood and I LOVE it. She gives the Best Female Hip Hop Artist Awards and I wanna know how Ester Dean got nominated in this category? Does she have a record? Nicki Minaj wins. A man helps her up on the stage. She says something stupid about Barbie! Her speech CRACKED! She gave props to all female rappers! Props Nicki! The only thing that would have made this speech perfect is a better wig.
6. T.I., the King of the South is introduced for a performance. Oddly enough, I forgot he went to jail and hasn’t had an album in a while. I like how he always wears clothes that fit. There is not really much to say about his performance. This song has a little “Eminem” in it.
7. Nia Long looks GREAT! In my eyes and heart, she is a legend. I LOVE her voice! Her skin. Her hair. I just LOVE her! She better take us back to one of the GREATEST movies of out time! Wait, here comes Lorenz Tate! Didn’t know he was so short! The introduce the Best Hip Hop Artists. The winner is Drake. Who are all the people on the stage? LOTS of random dudes! He thanks his single mom and gives her props. I like his jacket.
8. Before this little got her first note out, I knew she was going to out-sing Alicia Keys! She strains out “No One” first to a rock-like track. She looks pretty. Baby glow? Ad-libbing… #Fail. I’ll give that a 7/10. Its big for her! Kim Burrell comes out singing a churchy rendition of “If I aint Got You.” Never thought I would ever see these two on stage together! Kim’s dress was too short to be COGIC. She knows better! She should have worn flats, I’m nervous!
9. Keri Hilson looks interesting. I usually have no problem with her look but she is trying to borrow Rhianna’s look… Something happened to my TV so I missed the new artists. If they are god, I’m sure I’ll hear them again!
10. Queen Latifah dresses up like Cleo and does a little skit with T.I. B.o.B and Keyshia Cole perform “Airplane.” Keyshia Cole sounds an IDIOT. She sounds a mess! I mean, a MESS! A MESS! She sounds a dragon. I am so offended by her voice. She is simply terrible. Eminem.. why does he always seem so depressed? It’s completely unfair that Keyshia Cole can make money with her voice and I can’t.
11. Monica….OMG… whats on your shoulders!? Denise! YOU BETTER SANG!!!! Why does she take that song down 1000 octaves for live performances. Its for the best, I know! Latifah spilling HOT TEA on Awards tonight! Actually.. lukewarm tea for anybody in or around a L.A. Pride. She admits she likes to be around pretty women! We knew that!

13. Time for some Michael Jackson love. From Chris Brown!!!!!! One year overdue! BET should have let Chris Brow pay homage last year! Chris Brown is RAW!!!! This is absolutely CLASSIC! WOW! This is LONG overdue. BET should have done this last year! I hope the world give little Chris a chance!
14. Queen Latifah and these wardrobe changes. Drake is performing. Whats with that jacket. I’m tired of it! Did Jeezy have on a straight Jacket?
15. #Real Talk.. the Best R&B Male Awards should go to Chris Brown because his album was WAYYYYY better than Trey Songz album and I’d give Trey Songz album a 9 of 10!
16. El DeBarge is awesome! Good to see the oldies singing LIVE and not sagging! Tyrese pays tribute to Teddy Pendergrass and does WELL!
17. I love this Kirk Franklin song. Fred Hamond and Marvin Sapp sound good! Kim Burrell never makes a vocal mistake. Karen looks a fool, as usual! Yolanda is dope!
