“I would slap the s*** out of somebody for Gwyneth Paltrow,” Nas told CBS Localexclusively. “She’s the homie, she’s cool. Gwyneth gets a pass. Real people get a pass. We know what this s*** is. We don’t interrupt Italians when they say ‘Wop’ to each other. They gonna punch you in the mouth if you interrupt that. Don’t interrupt us. We pick and choose. Some might not feel the same way. Some of us will get angrier about it than others; but some people get a pass. The people that I know who are cool and real n****s, Gwyneth Paltrow is a real n****, that’s my homie. That’s how I’m on it. Some people get a pass.”
Below is the actual tweet. She tweets that she is on the stage during a performance of “N**gas In Paris.” I personally do not see the problem. They shouldn’t come out with songs that certain groups of people aren’t “allowed” to say. Sounds discriminatory! Let be honest… why folks are the biggest consumers of rap music. What should she have called it?

Unfortunately, we are the ones keeping the “N” word out there. We then expect others to refrain from the liberty of using it. If we stop using the term they will stop (not blantanly use it.) If I hang with people calling each other “N’s” than don’t be surprised when it slips out of my mouth. Thats when one of the “N’s” I hang with has to try and justify my slip!
