Rumors spread quickly that singer/actress Brandy Norwood was engaged to boyfriend and music industry executive, Ryan Press when a Sirius XM Radio station report the information. Brandy fans (and some critics, I’m sure) took to Twitter to confirm whether there were wedding bells in Brandy’s future. After a few hours, Brandy released a “statement” via Twitter addressing the rumor.

Starz, I'm not engaged..Lol. You guys would have been the first to know after my fam bam! Trust me, I would have tweeted the ring. #soon
