Hi. Hope you are well. I jotted down a few things to share with you. First and foremost, you need to know that today is Watermelon Appreciation day, per my Facebook friend. If you didn’t know, now you know.
My colleague was killing some watermelon.
Secondly… I brought in some pound cake that one of the saints made for me and one of the lovely ladies asked if I could her the recipe… I wanted to give her a breakdown on Black people and the release of certain recipes but I realized that perhaps, it’s not a Black people thing.. more like a “my family and the people I know” thing. My people don’t coop with a recipe book and don’t share recipes with people unrelated to them.
